Do I have to season Carbon Nonstick?Updated 14 days ago
No. Unlike traditional carbon steel cookware, you don’t need to season your Carbon Nonstick pan. By simply cooking with it, you'll be seasoning it; the more you use it, the more seasoned it becomes.
That said, we recommend "conditioning" your pan early and often. Conditioning is the term we use to describe the process of quickly heating your pan on the stovetop (after washing and drying), then rubbing in a small amount of high-heat oil with a paper towel. Condition your pan after each cook (or as often as you like) to build up seasoning and noticeably boost your pan’s nonstick effect: [Demo Video]
