Yes, we recommend applying mineral oil, such as cold-pressed grapeseed or sunflower oil, to your cutting board 1-2 times per year to maintain the quality.
Once your cutting board is clean and dry, use a cloth or paper towel to apply the oil in an even layer on the wood and leave the oil to soak in, overnight if possible. Once you have let it sit for a while, use a clean cloth or paper towel to buff off any remaining oil so that the board does not feel damp or sticky. After that, you are good to go!
