Why would I need an Oven Steel?Updated 8 months ago

Ovens can be off by 30º - 50ºF, no matter what the display temperature is showing. As your oven slowly cools, the heating elements switch on and off, causing the temperature to fluctuate constantly. So while your oven is displaying 400ºF, in reality, it could be anywhere between 350ºF and 450ºF. This is where our Oven Steel comes in!

The Oven Steel acts as a thermal battery, keeping your oven within 5 - 10 degrees of the temperature you want. Once the Oven Steel is hot, it buffers and replenishes the heat inside your oven, making any rises or dips less extreme. So instead of swings of 30 to 50 degrees, your oven’s temperature stays within a window of 5 to 10 degrees.
